We are located at the southern end of the Port of Coos Bay, the largest deep draft ocean port between San Francisco and Seattle's Puget Sound. Coos Bay has represented a commercial passage to the sea from pioneer days to the present. The name is derived from the area's Native American tribe and has two Indian meanings: "lake" and "place of pines". The population of the Coos Bay area which includes Coos Bay, North Bend and Charleston is nearly 35,000.
An interesting walk or bicycle ride along the Bay through our private gate is a must. A clean paved path will take you a 1/2 mile into the center of town. There you will find the new boardwalk and the Coos Bay Historical Interpretive Center.
Make LUCKY LOGGERS RV PARK your headquarters while exploring the Coos Bay area and experiencing the beauty of the Oregon Coast.
